I have really enjoyed this series even though I often wanted to slap America for her stupidity at times. Now the truth was to be finally revealed. Okay – I HOPED that the final ending would have Maxon and America together. My Thoughts: It has taken two books but America has finally decided that Maxon is the one for her – but has she made up her mind too late? Will he decide that she is the one for him and make her his wife? Even though the love triangle has been there from page one of book one, the discovery of which was like a sword poised over America’s neck, I always thought that the final ending would have Maxon and America together.
But as the end of the competition approaches, and the threats outside the palace walls grow more vicious, America realizes just how much she stands to lose-and how hard she’ll have to fight for the future she wants. When she was chosen to compete in the Selection, America never dreamed she would find herself anywhere close to the crown.
